I recently had the pleasure of staying at a historical monument from 1585 and it was everything I could have hoped for. The standard double room with a terracotta floor was true to the rules of a perfect house by Andrea Palladio. The owners, Alain and Isabelle, were incredible hosts, treating me like a good friend. The food they prepared was exceptional, and the grounds with friendly dogs, beautiful horses, and a friendly cat were perfect. I can't wait to return and experience this wonderful place again.
I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Hotel breakfast could be improved with a greater variety of options.

I had a fantastic stay at this authentic castle. the hospitality was top-notch, and the hostess made a wonderful dinner for us, complete with a bottle of good red wine. the next morning, my wife enjoyed a lovely tour of the organic vegetable garden. the decoration and pictures throughout the castle were truly authentic and added to the charm. It felt like stepping back in time to the Middle Ages. the standard double room we stayed in had a terracotta floor, which added to the historical ambiance. our experience at Chateau De Bourgon was unforgettable. Cons: Couldn't stay longer 😢.

The double room at Chateau De Bourgon was so cozy and charming, I felt like I was in a fairytale cottage. The electric kettle was a game-changer for a tea lover like me, and the fireplace added that extra touch of warmth and ambiance. It was the perfect retreat after a long day of exploring.
Not a huge fan of the fireplace, but that's just me. Others might find it romantic.
